Casting resins

Polyurethane casting substances (further PUR ZL) serve for filling of voids of every type, especially at construction of electrical devices, where casting resins without internal tension with good elastic and electric insulating properties are required. They have good adhesion to PVC and rubber. They are suitable for casting of transformers, electronic components to covers, cables ends and joints, for moisten prevention. Due to high elongation they manage thermo dilatation stress and it is suitable to cast materials with various thermal expansions. Thermal endurance is 120 - 130?C. They do not contain solvents neither other volatile substances. Their curing is characterized by low exothermal temperature. After curing they are characterized by flexibility of hard gum.

Adhesives

Adhesive enamels LVL 100, LVL 200 and LAL 205 are one-component adhesive enamels based on modified epoxy resins with low content of volatile substances (max.8%). They are designated mostly for mechanical strengthening – for adhesion of conductors in electrical machines stator windings, middle and big power magnets of separators and so on. From enamels can be electro insulating materials prepared in combination with filling agents on inorganic basis. They are laid on with brush or by dipping. Recommended time for curing of enamels is 1 hour by 160?C.

Cements

Cements and adhesives ELFIX are two-components epoxy materials based on modified epoxy resins with different content of inorganic filling agents. They are cured by room temperature. Acceleration of curing can be achieved by higher temperature. Good electrical and mechanical properties are preserved up to 135?C. They are characterized by excellent adhesion to metal, glass, wood, concrete, ceramics, porcelain and thermosetting materials. Their adhesion to thermoplastics (polyethylene, polypropylene, softened PVC) and to dirty fatty surfaces is insufficient. Advantage of type ELFIX 710 is easy miscibility of components by lower flow (good thixotropic properties). Cements and adhesives ELFIX are suitable for adhesion, sealing and insulation in different areas. By electrical engineering they are used for example for cementing of reels, for fixation of rotating machines winding heads, for fixation of transformer reels, for repair of damaged lead cable jackets. They are also used for cementing of leaks of different types of metal tanks, including gas tanks, for formation and shaping. In combination with glass cloth they can be used for lamination of damaged automobile bodywork parts of smaller size. In household they serve for different repairs and adhesion of glass, porcelain, wooden and metal objects.
