APPLICATION

Cables CYTY, CYTFY are designated for electronic security systems (ESS) and for electronic fire signalizing (EFS). Cables can be placed under a plaster.
Cables are produced and delivered according to PN VUKI 21 011.

MARKING

Character mark:
CYTY - non-screened cables
CYTFY - screened cables

Complete cable marking contains besides character mark also entry about number of pairs n and entry about nominal core diameter in mm: CYT...Y m x a + 2 x b
m - number of pilot conductors in a cable
a - diameter of a core of pilot conductors
b - diameter of a core of power supply conductors

In case that the diameter of power supply and pilot is equal, number mark m presents total number of conductors in a cable and the second part of number mark (2 x b) is not stated.

Marking example:

CYTFY 2 x 0,3 + 2 x 0,5

Screened cable with two pilot conductors with diameter 0,3 mm and with two power supply conductors with diameter 0,5 mm.

CONSTRUCTION

1 Pilot conductor cores are out of copper wires with nominal diameter 0,3; 0,4; 0,5 or 0,6 mm, diameter of power supply conductor cores can be  0,5; 0,6; 0,8 or 1,0. Basic version of cables CYTY, CYTFY is

2 Insulation is out of PVC. Conductor diameter over insulation is in tab. 1. Power supply and pilot conductor are twisted together. Colour marking is as following:

power supply conductors:

1.core - red
2.core - black

pilot conductors:

1.core - white
2.core - yellow
3.core - blue
4.core - green
5.core - grey
6.core - brown
7.core - orange
8.core - purple

3 Screening jacket is created by longitudinally overlapped, resp. wrapped PET or PET+A1 layer oriented with metal inwards and 1, eventually 2 additional tinned Cu wires with nominal diameter 0,4 mm.

4 Jacket is made of PVC. Jacket colour is white (on request of a customer can be changed). Jacket colour for EFS is red.

PACKING, DELIVERING AND STORAGE

Cables are delivered in coils in 200 m lengths.
Cables can be stored in open-air area or in warehouses. They cannot be exposed to thermal radiation and they cannot be stored together with flammable liquids or solvents or with products containing them. It is safe to manipulate with cables at temperature range -10 °C to +50 °C.
