APPLICATION
Heat shrinkable cable outlet shapes type HCZ 4 are used for division of cores in front of termination of full-plastic four-core cables AYKY or CYKY for rated voltage 0,6/1 kV.
MARKING
HCZ 4 - 4/35 Shape for plastic cables of size 4x4 mm2 up to 4x35 mm2.
HCZ 4 - 35/150 Shape for plastic cables of size 4x35 mm2 up to 3x150+70 mm2.
HCZ 4 - 185/240 Shape for plastic cables of size 3x185+95 mm2 up to 3x240+120 mm2.
CHARACTERISTICS
Heat shrinkable cable outlet shapes are made from cross-linked polyethylene. Inside of shape is provided with a layer of hot melt adhesive, which after installation ensures a perfect sealing of the cable end.
The basic properties of used material are shown in Tab. 1.
The dimensions of shape in delivered form and after free shrinking are shown in Tab.2. and Pic.1, 2.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The end parts of cable are to be cleaned, roughed by abrasive cloth and carefully (insulation should not be burned) warmed up with short time heating by sharp flame. After putting on the shape it is shrinked by soft flame or hot air gun. The shrinking proceeds from branch place to edge of shape.
Heat shrinkable cable shapes HCZ4 are delivered packed in carton boxes (more pieces).
