PCEY (UTP), PCEHY (FTP)

APPLICATION

Twisted cables PCEY and PCEHY are designated for data transmission. Cables are produced in 1 and 4pair version.

Cables are produced and delivered according to PN VUKI 21 010.

 MARKING

 Character mark:

 PCEY - non-screened cables
PCEHY - screened cables

 Complete cable marking contains besides character mark also entry about number of pairs n and entry about nominal core diameter m in mm.

CONSTRUCTION

1 Cores are out of copper wires with nominal diameter 0,4; 0,5 or 0,6 mm. Core diameters in individual cable types are stated in tab. 1. Type PCEHY 1 x 2 x 0,4 can be on request delivered also with CuSn core.

2 Insulation is out of solid PE. Diameter over insulation and insulation colour of conductors in pairs is in tab. 1.

3 Screening jacket (in cable version with screening "H") is created of bottom longitudinally overlapped, resp. wrapped PET or PET+A1 layer oriented with metal outside and upper wrapped PET+A1 layer oriented with metal inwards. Minimal thickness of A1 layer on screening layer is 0,012 mm. Continuity of foil is assured minimally with one additional tinned Cu wire with nominal diameter min. 0,4 mm.

4 Jacket is made of PVC. Jacket colour and maximal outer diameters of cables are stated in tab. 1.

PACKING, DELIVERING AND STORAGE

Cables are delivered in coils in lengths of 500 m, 300 m, and eventually 200 m.

Cables can be stored in open-air area or in warehouses. They cannot be exposed to thermal radiation and they cannot be stored together with flammable liquids or solvents or with products containing them. It is safe to manipulate with cables at temperature range -10 °C to +50 °C.
