RHK 5
Heat shrinkable combined cable outlet shapes RHK 5 are used for cores splitting before termination of plastic five-core cables AYKY or CYKY for rated voltage up to 0,6/1 kV.
MARKING
RHK 5 – 4/10 Outlet shape for cables cross-section from 5 x 4 mm2 up to 5 x 10 mm2
RHK 5 – 16/25 Outlet shape for cables cross-section from 5 x 16 mm2 up to 5 x 25 mm2
RHK 5 – 35/50 Outlet shape for cables cross-section from 5 x 35 mm2 up to 5 x 50 mm2
CHARACTERISTICS
Outlet shapes are made by combination of heat shrinkable tubes with hot melt adhesive on inner side and plastics moulding. In installation process only heat shrinkable tubes are shrank. They tighten cores of cable and on the other end on cylindrical part of moulding it tights the cable jacket. Plastic moulding is not shrinkable, it remains in initial stage.
Heat shrinkable tubes are made from cross-linked PE, plastic moulding from co-polymer PP.
