APPLICATION
Plastic 8-pair telecommunication cable SEKFY 8 x 2 x 0,5 is designated mainly for indoor distribution of 2 Mbit/s data flow.
MARKING
Cable mark consists of characters, which indicate mainly used materials and cable construction:

Screened 8-pair cable with core diameter 0,5mm, PE insulation and PVC jacket.
CONSTRUCTION
1 Cores are out of copper wires with nominal diameter 0,5 mm.
2 PE core insulation. Diameter over insulation is 1,3 mm.
3 Conductors twisted together to pairs.

2.pair - red - yellow
3.pair - green - white
4.pair - green - yellow
5.pair - blue - white
6.pair - blue - yellow
7.pair - brown - white

4 PE central filling tube
5 Screening jacket over core is created of lower lengthwise laid PET+A1 foil oriented with metal outside and upper wrapped PET+Al foil oriented with metal inwards. Minimal thickness of A1 layer on screening layer is 0,012 mm. Continuity of foil is assured with two additional tinned Cu wires with nominal diameter min. 0,4 mm.
6 PVC jacket. Jacket colour is white (according to agreement can be different). Diameter over jacket is cca 11 mm.

PACKING, DELIVERING AND STORAGE
Cables are usually delivered in coils in maximal length of 200 m. Cables with greater length are delivered in drums.
Cables can be stored in open-air area or in warehouses. They cannot be exposed to thermal radiation and they cannot be stored together with flammable liquids or solvents or with products containing them. It is safe to manipulate with cables at temperature range -10 °C to +50 °C.
