APPLICATION
External heat shrinkable joints SVCZ are determined for splicing of four-core plastics power cables for rated voltage of 0,6 / 1 kV.
MARKING
Marking consists of characters SVCZ and a number to indicate the cross-section of phase core.
If joint includes pressing cable connectors for conductor connecting (LKS) marking is finished by character S.
Marking examples:
SVCZ 35 - heat shrinkable joint for cable AYKY (CYKY) 4 x 35 (without LKS).
SVCZ 120-S - heat shrinkable joint for cable AYKY 3 x 120 + 70 with three LKS for conductors of 120 mm2 and one LKS for conductor of 70 mm2.
CHARACTERISTICS
Joint includes 4 (or 3+1) insulation tubes for insulating of wire contacts and one jacket tube for jacketing in a place of core bonding.
Inside the insulation and jacket heat shrinkable tubes are provided with a layer of hot melt adhesive, which after installation ensures a perfect sealing of the cable connect.
The tubes are made from cross-linked polyethylene. Its properties are shown in Tab.1.

Heat shrinkable joints are produced and delivered according to PN VUKI 22 012.
