SVCZ 4P, 4Y, 4T

APPLICATION

Heat shrinkable joints SVCZ 4P, 4Y, 4T are determined for connecting and diversion of signal conductors for gas pipelines.

SVCZ 4T - T joint - completed branching, for connection of three direct joints

INSTALLATION OF JOINT SVCZ 4P – DIRECT JOINT

  1. We strip the conductors insulation in lengths equal to ½ of Cu pressure joint.
  2. We put heat shrinkable tube on one of the conductors.
  3. We put insulated conductor cores into the Cu pressure joint and mould the joint with suitable moulding pliers (we recommend type Klavke K-02).
  4. We relocate heat shrinkable tube onto pressure joint. We take care for pressure joint to be in its middle. We shrink the tube by heat activity from middle to one and then to other edge. As a source of heat we recommend to use soft flame propane-butane burner or hot air gun.
  5. The heat shrinkable tube tightens the connection perfectly after a melted adhesive is squeezed out. We do not remove this. We manipulate with the joint after it is cooled down and the adhesive is stiffen (cca 20 min.)

INSTALLATION OF JOINT SVCZ 4Y – BRANCH JOINT

  1. We istrip the conductors insulation through  in lengths equal to ½ of Cu pressure joint. We insulate branch conductor in lengths equal to length of joint.
  2. We put tightening tube from heat melting adhesive on the branch conductor. We put heat shrinkable tube on the through conductor, which is entering to Cu pressure joint from other side.
  3. We put insulated conductor cores into the Cu pressure joint and mould the joint with suitable moulding pliers as it is stated in instructions for direct joint.
  4. We relocate heat shrinkable tube onto pressure joint and both conductors (through and branch) squeeze to each other. We move heat shrinkable tube in a way that it is overlapping tube from heat melting adhesive. We shrink the tube from middle first to the edge with one conductor and then to the edge with two conductors. As a source of heat we recommend to use soft flame propane-butane burner or hot air gun.
  5. The heat shrinkable tube tightens the connection perfectly after a melted adhesive is squeezed out on both edges. We do bending of branch conductor to required direction after it is cooled down and the adhesive is stiffen, in a distance 2 to 3 cm from the edge of shrinked tube.

INSTALLATION OF JOINT SVCZ 4T

Delivered T-joint is a complete branch, on which we connect with three direct joints. By the connection we proceed as it is stated in instructions for installation of direct joint SVCZ 4P.

DELIVERY

For joints of types 4P and 4Y the material for preparation of 10 pcs (in PE bag) is delivered.
Order example: 50 pcs - joint SVCZ 4Y
Delivery: 5 pcs PE bags - each bag contents:
• 10 pcs Cu joints of cross-section 16 mm2
• 10 pcs heat shrinkable tubes
• 10 pcs tightening capsule of hot melt glue
For joint of type 4T the material for preparation of 1 pc (in PE bag) is delivered.
Order example: 8 pcs - joint SVCZ 4T
Delivery: 8 pcs PE bags - each bag contents:
• 1 pc completed T-joint
• 3 pcs Cu joints of cross-section 4 mm2
• 3 pcs heat shrinkable tubes
