SVCZ n x 1,5 - 6

APPLICATION

The joints SVCZ n x 1,5 - 6 are determined for connection two and more copper core power cables with cross section range from 1,5 mm2 up to 6 mm2 for rated voltage up to 1 kV.

Designation example:
SVCZ 7 x 2,5 - S Cu
7 - number of cores
2,5 - nominal cross-section area of conductors
S Cu - pressing Cu connector

CHARACTERISTICS

The joint set consists from pressing copper connectors (conformably to number of connected cores), equal number of heat shrinkable tubes to create insulation over space of conductor connections and one heat shrinkable tube to create jacket over connected cores. Inside the insulation and jacket tubes are provided with a layer of hot melt adhesive, which after installation ensures a perfect sealing of the cable and joint.

The tubes are made from cross-linked polyethylene, which properties are shown in Tab. 1.

Heat shrinkable joints SVCZ n x 1,5 - 6 are produced and delivered according to PN VUKI 11 008.

Heat shrinkable joints SVCZ are delivered in PE bags (one set each).
