APPLICATION

Quad communication cable TCEKYS 1 x 4 x m is used for transmission of voice, text, picture and data information by analog or digital signals. Cable TCEKYS is in aerial construction (with sailing rope). It is determined for outdoor use.

Cables TCEKYS 1 x 4 x m are produced and delivered according to TP-VUKI-0200/96.

MARKING

The cable mark consists of characters that indicate mainly used materials and cable construction:

6. S - with sailing rope

Complete cable marking contains besides character sign also statement with nominal diameter of conductors in mm.

Marking example:

TCEKYS 1 x 4 x 0,6

Quad cable with conductor diameter 0,6 mm and PVC jacket and aerial construction.
The cable marking can be also TCEKYS 1XN 0,6, where 1XN means one quad and 0,6 indicates core diameter 0,6 mm.

CONSTRUCTION

1 The conductors are made from copper wires with nominal diameter 0,4 mm (1 x 4 x 0,4) and 0,6 mm (1 x 4 x 0,6).

2 Insulation material is solid PE. The colour of core insulation is red, white and gray, natural..
The cable TCEKYS 1 x 4 x 0,4 contains also one additional green core.

3 The quad is covered with PET-leaf.

4 Carrying steel rope with 2 mm diameter and 2500 N tensile strength. The ropes is parallel moulded with cable cores and create a compact unit in eight-number form.

5 The jacket is from PVC. The colour of jacket is black. Minimal jacket thickness is 1,5 mm.

PACKING, DELIVERING AND STORAGE

Cables can be delivered in production length (cca 1300 m) on wooden or metallic drums.  Shorter lengths can be delivered also in coils. There can be reel more lengths reeled on a drum (max. 4).

Cables can be stored in open-air area or in warehouses. They cannot be exposed to thermal radiation and they cannot be stored together with flammable liquids or solvents or with products containing them. It is safe to manipulate with cables at temperature range -10 °C to +50 °C.
