VUKUR
APPLICATION
Polyurethane casting substances (further PUR ZL) serve for filling of voids of every type, especially at construction of electrical devices, where casting resins without internal tension with good elastic and electric insulating properties are required. They have good adhesion to PVC and rubber. They are suitable for casting of transformers, electronic components to covers, cables ends and joints, for moisten prevention. Due to high elongation they manage thermo dilatation stress and it is suitable to cast materials with various thermal expansions. Thermal endurance is 120 - 130 ˚C.
PUR ZL are produced and delivered according to TP VUKI.
CHARACTERISTICS
PUR ZL are two-component. They consist of polyol component VUKOL and of hardener VUKIT M, which are mixed in prescribed ratio. They are processed and cured at temperatures above 5˚C. They do not contain solvents neither other volatile substances. Their curing is characterized by low exothermal temperature. After curing they are characterized by flexibility of hard gum.
According to type they differ in processing properties and properties after cure. Their properties are stated in detail in tab.1, 2, 3 and 4.
VUKUR OM 33n type contains flame retardant, which releases water during fire and by that extinguishes flame.

SAFETY AT WORK
Polyol components are not poisonous and do not cause irritation by contact with a skin. However hardener is a contact sensitizer. By long term contact with a skin or inhalation of vapors can cause irritation or eczemas. Maximal admissible concentration in air MAK is 0,2 mg/m3.
PACKING AND STORAGE
Polyol components VUKOL are delivered in non-returnable, clean, for other products not used 18 l packages or packages from 1 to 25 kg according to agreement between producer and client. Hardener VUKIT M is delivered according to agreement between producer and client.
Individual components are stored in dry ventilated warehouse by temperature 15 ± 10 °C.
