ZRZE, ZRZY
APPLICATION
Joints ZRZE and ZRZY are designated for splicing of plastic communication and control paired cables TCEKEZE and TCEKEZY with copper cores of diameter 1mm with aluminium wires screen.
MARKING
Marking consists of character sign ZRZE (ZRZY), which is followed by number (or numbers) indicating nominal number of jointed cable pairs.
Marking example:
ZRZE – 12
Heat shrinkable joint for TCEKEZE cable with nominal number of pairs 12.
ZRZY – 24/30
Heat shrinkable joint for TCEKEZY cable with nominal number of pairs 24 or 30.
CHARACTERISTICS
Heat shrinkable joints ZRZE (ZRZY) consist from:

Heat shrinkable tube for creation of inner sheath over the connected cores

Heat shrinkable tube for creation of outer sheath over the connected aluminium wires of screen

Two heat shrinkable help tubes for increase of cable inner sheath diameter. The help tubes come to use for splicing of 3 up to 12 pairs cables only. For 16 or more pairs cables they are not necessary.

Liner from electro-technical board laminated with aluminium foil for creating of inner covering

Liner from electro-technical board for creating of outer covering

Pressing aluminium connectors (30 mm length) for splicing of aluminium screen wire

Other material: abrasive cloth, cleaning tissue
Other material for montage - textile tape and self-bonding tape (SL) are delivered separately in ordered quantity according to client requirements.
Heat shrinkable tubes for inner and outer sheath and also the help tubes are provided with a layer of hot melt adhesive inside, which after installation ensures a perfect bonding of the cable and joint.
We state detailed mounting description in mounting guideline for joint types ZRZE and ZRZY.
It is possible to create also branch joints – it is necessary to consult individual cases with producer.
The tubes are made from cross-linked polyethylene, properties are shown in Tab.1.
The dimensions of joints are shown in Tab. 2.
Heat shrinkable joints ZRZE and ZRZY are produced and delivered according to PN VUKI 22 007.

Heat shrinkable joints ZRZE and ZRZY are delivered packed in PE bags (one set each).
